Well word is, that Exern is working on a new patch for UnrealIRCd for a more configurable logging system.
It will also be released as Opensource, It should be interesting to what it includes.

Well work continues on the mIRC client as version 7.03 gets released.
In this version we have recieved 16 bugfixes, one of which is a "message splitter".
For all those who like to type long messages and get frustrated when only half of their message gets sent,
this one is for you. mIRC will now split your message and send it in blocks. This option has been added into the
Messages dialog.

ReplayIRC today announced two new news features, their first being their new affiliate with SassIRC.com.
They also announced that the server their site is run on, was hijacked and spam urls were embedded into the headers of their pages. The user database was not affected as it is hosted on another server and the site is back to business as usual now.

Echelon4's staff member Nightstalker has announced that their server has changed its memo limit from 20 to 50.
This is for more flexibility for their users and memo-keeping staff.
